Firefox forum inputs problem

I use several browsers and a feedreader to surf. I have noticed lately that when I visit the Dev forums using firefox the "post reply" "edit" "new thread" etc. inputs aren't available. This is with javascript enabled and logged in. I was just wondering if any other Firefox users have experienced this problem. Is it a forum bug, or, more likely, a browser option setting that I have wrong?

missing forum inputs

I'm still using 1.0.4 (windows OS) In addtion to the missing inputs, the "quick reply" box is "grey-ed out" and there is no "quick reply icon" to click.
The source shows
Code:
<td class="smallfont"><a href="newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=63922"><img src="http://images.devshed.com/fda/buttons/reply.gif" alt="Reply" border="0" /></a></td>
but there is no mouse-over cursor change and the area does not show up when you click-drag over it. Yet if I go to the image's url I can see it.

Problem Solved
On a hunch I looked at my options and noticed that
"Load Images - for the originating web site only" was checked.
The browser interpreted the images as coming from another site. I unchecked it, reloaded the page, and there they are.
