Shoutbox not working properly in Opera browser
When I use Opera to browse the forums (read: always) and I post something to the shoutbox, the submit goes just fine, and the shout is posted, but the return page never loads, just keeps saying 'completed request to server'

Looks like a HTTP transfer that's never properly closed.

Other posts work fine, it's just the shoutbox.

I'm talking about the 'quickshout' on the front page, the form on the seperate shoutbox page works fine.

Does this issue (as first mentioned in your initial post) still occur?
I haven't had time to test it... and no other mod/admin has spoken to it yet.

I like the option for plugins and bookmarks toolbar folder -- I'd never survive without that

Are you saying the page doesn't refresh properly after you shout? I just shouted with it, and it went perfectly normal...

Most Firefox plugins are standard features in Opera, at least the ones people keep shouting about (and the executable is still smaller!), As for a bookmarks toolbar folder, Opera has that (called personal toolbar) and the panel, which makes for much easier editing imho.

Did you use the 'quick shout' or the advanced shout box?

I used the advanced shoutbox for my test in Opera and go about 50/50 normally....
