What is BlueTooth, verses Memory Stick?

I registered and logged on, but I figured I just went round in circles trying to find the right forum and where to ask this following question. I wanted to buy one of those USB, 1 GB Memory Sticks but as I browse at various catalog sites, I see that there is something very similar that looks like the Memory Stick, and it's called BlueTooth? I don't wish to get mixed up, but what is the difference between Bluetooth and a memory stick? Sorry for dumb questions?
Vic

Hehe, not similar at all, only in physical appearance.

A memory stick is something to store data on. Bluetooth is a wireless protocol to connect stuff like headsets, PDA's, cellphones, computers, mice, keyboards, etc.

have a look at Wikipedia

PS: I'm suggesting the mods to move this to Lizard Lounge, probably the best place for it.
