Oracle Makes Bid for Retek, Raises Battle with SAP (Reuters)

Reuters - Oracle Corp. on Tuesday
opened a bidding war with German rival SAP AG for
retail software provider Retek Inc. , offering $9 per
share in cash -- a 50 cent per share premium to SAP's bid.
