ahhhh damn forums!

Okay I'm hoping someone can help me,

you see i'm having problems with these forums,

I dunno where to go and moan about this so i chose here, and i hope the mods, or board owners take note.

My problem is with the display modes.
You see i like to view threads in linier mode, oldest > newest. It shouldn't be a problem. but it is.

I have setup my options (under user control panel) to linear, but recently whenever i view threads it puts them in ugly mode (i.e. threaded. eww)

Every damn time i have to select linear mode, if i relpy to a post, it reverts back to threaded mode, and it gets quite annoying!

Does anyone know if there is an easy simple way to ensure that the forums acually display as i want them to, and as i have specified in the control panel?
Or does anyone know who i should ask?
or is there something blindingly obvious that i have missed?

I am using firefox, problem doesn't appear to happen under IE, but i havn't done extenstive testing or anything

hmm I use linear also (and firefox) and never had a problem like that. have you tried logging out and then back in? (or just clear your cookies) if not I suggest you contact (look in my sig)
