We started to develop at 1999 programming language and environment named "Anvil", which now has the version 2.5.0 available for downloads.
We would greatly appreciate if some of you experts would be interested to take a look at it and give us some feedback. Anvil doesn't cost anything and it's available from URL Short summary of Anvil's features: * java-based * modular, procedural and object oriented language, with functional flavours. * rich expressions * partial compile-time binding, runtime typing. * limited functionality of language available as a tag-based format, for templating. * customizable server environment with HTTP listener. * runnable standalone or as servlet * base libraries, such as io, net, sql, naming etc. * anvildoc, automatic documentation generator * any java-class can be used directly * compiled: generates java-bytecode directly * dynamic compilation * application can be delivered as a single .jar |

Hi,
Nice language. I see it's based on XML. You have some nice tutorials on your site, however would you be interested in writing an article or two on the language and having them published across our network? If so, please email me: mitchell@devarticles.com and i'll give you more info. |
