Compacted Outlook Express Folders
Hello all,
I just have a question regarding outlook express. I spend all of my time in medical software and I have never used outlook express, but one of my new clients has called in a panic. Apparently, his outlook express was set up to do maintenance (compact folders at 76%) and now all of his email for the last month is no longer viewable. Once outlook express has performed this function is there anyway to retrieve those emails? I hate to seem simple and stupid, but my expertise is in Compis and Medisoft not Microsoft. James |

AFAIK, compacting folders in OE does not delete anything, it just cleans up the cache so there is no wasted space.
I'm not sure where his email might have gone though - could he have deleted it accidentally? http://www.google.com/search?q=%22o...=utf-8&oe=utf-8 |
