Compacted Outlook Express Folders
Hello all,
I just have a question regarding outlook express. I spend all of my time in medical software and I have never used outlook express, but one of my new clients has called in a panic. Apparently, his outlook express was set up to do maintenance (compact folders at 76%) and now all of his email for the last month is no longer viewable. Once outlook express has performed this function is there anyway to retrieve those emails? I hate to seem simple and stupid, but my expertise is in Compis and Medisoft not Microsoft. James

AFAIK, compacting folders in OE does not delete anything, it just cleans up the cache so there is no wasted space.
I'm not sure where his email might have gone though - could he have deleted it accidentally? http://www.google.com/search?q=%22o...=utf-8&oe=utf-8
