Computer Specs
Just wanted to know what computer specs people are currently running??

I have 2 computers here are their specs

My Beefy Bitch:
Dual 1.4Ghz Intel processors
(unknown motherboard-could never remember)
1.5gig DDR ram
geforce 4 Ti 4600 128mb
Sony CD burner with memory stick
DVD-ROm pioneer
2x 60gig IBM HD
21" sony flat screen (cost me a f*%ken fortune)
audio is built into motherboard

This computer i use for 3d rendering

My other computer:
AMD 1.1Ghz athlon
msi turbo MB
1.25gig SDram
geforce 2 MX (i think)
crap cdburner
dvd-rom
1x 60gig seagate HD
17" LG monitor (can also share 21" from other computer
sound blaster live 5.1 platium

56k modem = owns you

Runs Counter-Strike fine for me except on laggy servers .

well ive spent about $10,000AU on my computers, so of course im gonna have a good computer. but with my rendering time down to amost realtime it pays off to have that ammount of power

your cheap machine?
My server at home is a 200mhz 48m, 2G compaq presario...

My table top box is a 333mhz with 190 megs of ram

my laptop is a 333 with 64 megs of ram...

One of these days my wife will let me get out of the dark ages with a real machine

You can see the spec on both my laptop and my main home pc. I also have 2 other home pcs. Ones an MP3 server and the other is a linux server for testing.

dsl??? hmmm, i like my cable connection. ADSL in australia now is crap, i dont know what its like in the other parts of the world tho.

Then again, our biggest telco, has a monolpy on the broadband industry, and our gov wont do a thing, cos they want to privitise it and get the money
