DevArticles Website
I love devArtictiles, devShed, and other sites apart of its network. I'm thinking about starting up my own website and would like some pointers on open source software.
It is my understanding that this site is an open source site -- if so, what is the name? Where can I go to download it? Are there any customize features on this site that are not available on the open source? Any help or direction would be appreciated. |

What exactly do you mean when you claim this site is open source?
From my understanding, the DevShed sites are all run off the same CMS (content management system)... there's a good chance that their system is either custom made, or a purchased bundle. However there are some CMS packages that are available for free... have you tried browsing Source Forge? Its also a good idea to get a package that uses a language you're familiar with. It'll make updates/modifications/customizations much easier. |

Well, I kind of assumed it was an offshoot of PHPNuke or something.
Is this site custom or open source? |
