Director of Implementation

Hello,
At the moment, i am very seriously looking into creating a business which will consist out of hosted databases (PostgreSQL ?) with web (PHP ?) acces.

It will be a very complex package of programming, modular for every client.

Also, this product will challenge a virtual monopolist in his market.

However, although i understand a (very) little bit of technology, my field of expertise does not lie here.
I a therefore looking for a / some people who can take on the technical aspects of this project.

We will need knowledge of database design, programming languages, operating systems and hardware considerations and, since this will be a comples project, project management.

I do not expect any one person to be able to do this all by him/herself. However, I am looking for a person who can take these responsibilities for his account.

To make matters more interesting, currently there will be no money available. Because there is a very good business case to be made, funding will become available once the technical considerations have become clear and a possible timeline is decided on.

However, because there is a realisation that the product itself is a very crucial part of the business, forms of recompensation such as a share in the profit, income or equity will be possible.

Now, how would I go about finding / recruiting this person?

Many thanks for your input!

I'd recommend tackling the business aspects first. Have a well-written document of the specificatiosn of your product. Figure out what the end-user can and can't do with the product. Figure out the work fow and what it might look like... these are all documents that you could pass off to any trained programmer and, if done well, they should be able to start the job with ease...

if its specific individuals you're looking for, perhaps posting on a job recruitment site is a good start.
