Hey folks,

I wanted some suggestions (ideas ??) for my new website ..
well I am in the process of constructing a Dev-site and wanted to know what you guys think are the 'essentials of any dev guild' ..
like ..

Newsletter
Free tutorials / articles
downloads ??
banners ?? (heh !)
FAQ ... tell me more ..

That's really the essentials....youve missed out few stuff tho...

such as

authors
newsposters
forum posters
moderators
editors

article ideas
alot of time
site visitors

and maybe a lawyer

I would recommend just making a list of things you like on dev sites that you like, then maybe choose the top 20 things for your site.

i believe getting the contents is the hardest work.. .even if the sites crap and doesnt have too many features.. ppl will come if you offer unique content..

Yes, getting GOOD content is the hard work, programing a site is easy compaired to getting the content.

Im starting up my own web site now, and im just trying to get some unique ideas for my content. Something which will bring in the hitz
