Hey all. To start off I go by compman on the internet. I'm a moderately experenced developer who often has too many active projects for his own good.
My website is http://www.compteks.net It's goal is to be a general computer-help-chat website so check it out. We've not been active for a long time so we don't have 100 visitors every hour, but we have a few regulars and it's still a pretty cool place to hang out. I'm good at C/C++ but I like to use PHP whenever possible. ![]() Well, later! |

Compman!
Welcome aboard... I know the feeling... I think most of us have too many projects than we can handle... Funny thing is we always seem to have room for more! How long have you been coding in C/C++? I took a C++ course last semester... I wasn't too fond of it. I came from Java, so I was used to having "Strings" being the norm... ![]() Welcome... Enjoy the trip!

Actually I would be considerd a newbie to C/C++... I've only been programming in it for about a year at most and I'm already looking into writing a free firewall program.
Of cource I still need a LOT more experence with the Win32 API... I've yet to write a decent program with a UI in C/C++. However, I hope that'll change soon because I'm looking at Borland C++ Builder v6. Microsoft Visual C++ .NET is a nightmare for me.... ![]() |
