Smile Greetings Everybody

Hi there!

I'm a IT final year student, and freinds call me Monk hope you too. I've found this site while i was searching for a topic for my project and found this website, really cool one. A great job done by people behind this site. Keep up the great work.

I'm basically into hardware based networking so programming of any kind is a bit too much to me, (even HTML). This site did really help me understand about programming more better. But i'm the kind of guy who'll admire the work than getting himself to build a stuff.

That's it. Hope to make freinds here too.

The Monk

Monk! My man! I'm a NIT major myself

Hey.. let me tell you this, if you can understand the logic of a network then you can understand the logic of almost any programming language out there I've found that if you can put your thoughts down on paper, and write your program like you speak your language (mine being english ) then you can figure it out... it sometimes just takes some sitting back and saying "Well Damn. I didn't think it would be that easy" hehe... just don't try to outthink yourself... that's where most people (in my experience anyway) mess up... I know I do...

Welcome to the forums and I look forward to seeing you post! And I might just pick your brain from time to time about some networking gear

You could have said it any better, Justin!

How many times have I out-thought myself? I can't even tell you... I'm out-thinking right now!

It's probably one of the most common mistakes... As programmers, we tend to over-complicate things (I think mainly due to the fact that people tend to think applications are HARD to make)... and so we get confused, and at times overwhelmed.

I've done the writing thing myself, especially when dealing with databases, and I find it helps wonders!

Welcome aboard, Monk! Enjoy the stay... we've got a great bunch of people here. Always willing to help!
