I Dont Know Jack....

... about ASP or Database development.

Sure, I can hack out a simple application (very simple) ...then go to bed without any real understanding of WHAT da heck I just did...and a headache.

Yup! I got two (pretty cool) books that are definately helping me understand the "basics" of ASP and Databases:

Beginning Active Server Pages 3.0 (for asp)
Beginning ASO Databases (wrox)

their cool. very. But...heck I'm a newbie, A GREENHORN! I get confuzed from time to time. And no matter HOW MANY TIMES I talk to the book...IT DOES'NT TALK BACK!!??!!

So..In conclusion, I came back to may roots. I DO know HTML, CSS, Javascript and a good "smidgen" of VBScript...and I learned it all with the help of a few good books, and a few good groups who answered a few (yeah right) good questions.

So here I am. Show a "Greenhorn" some LOVE, wont'cha?

Dont you hate it when the book doesn't talk back???

So far none of the ones i have do either, except the ones on audio cd... but sometimes people may look at you wierd if you're having an argument with your walkman....
