Whether or not anyone has a spine is one matter entirely, you were criticizing someone for removing copyrighted material when they were requested by the owner of the copyright to do so.

There may be mitigating circumstances that you do not understand that may be going on in the background, calling someone a wimp is not neccessary at all. It could be possible that the owner of the site was contacted by microsoft and they asked him/her to remove their property, which, if they did not do so, they could be threatened with any number of reprocussions. If you wish to fight against a multi billion dollar corp about some pictures that would violate copyright law (and yes, they are owned by MS) If you didn't remove them from your site, then that's your call and entirely up to you, however no one has the right to flame anyone, or to discredit them in any way (including, but not limited to calling them a wimp), for making that choice - which is their own to make.

And also let me note, you can attack me all that you want, it won't bother me as there is absolutely no reason to let it do so - especially since you don't know me, or who I am , however I won't let a flame war start in the open forums as it's uncalled for and unneccesary. There's no reason or need to attack anyone for their opinions (which everyone has, and everyone is entitled to.) or their choices. One persons choices are their own.

Why do you say that it is not their property? They did the hosting for the webcast, and own all of the copyrights for the material within, which includes any pictures, movies, or other media that was involved with the webcast. MS has the right to keep anyone from using their property (images, logos, transcripts) without their explicit permission if they wish.

Again, if you want to violate copyright policy and host that info on your site, then that's up to you.

And also again, you don't know me, so don't assume anything. I know my rights, and the laws of my area, and fight when the fighting needs to be done. If it were me then it would be a different situation, however it's not. If you don't like it, then fine. Host the files yourself, but stop the name calling.

Ha ha ha.. This is the last post I will respond to in this thread. I was born in 1963, you figure it out. I direct IT at a large military base in the Seattle area. You track it down. I've worked for many companies including one in Redmond. And unlike you, I do not spend most of my time looking at anime and porn, and playing "games".

Man, again there you go with the assumption that you know what anyone else in the world does with their free time.

FYI, I've worked for Microsoft, Sprint, Sprint PCS, both in a call center, and in an IT support group. Every company I have worked for were fortune 500. I have my masters in Network Information Technology and a BS in Criminal Justice from UT Arlington.

If you want to compare brain pans then I have no problem doing so, I just don't enjoy tooting my own horn.

Since I was 18 I've been doing freelance software development on my own.. And I hate anime. Most of my free time is spent on my fiancee and working on getting our wedding planned. What free time I have left I spend on horticulture and software development.

You're 40 and should know better than to act like you are. It's sad that a 23 year old has to point this out.

Sucks Microsoft won't allow the distribution of the clip. I'd love to see it.

Let's try to keep the rest of the posts on topic.
