Mozilla browser - blue page download indicator gets stuck.
I am using the Mozilla 1.7.3 browser. Down at the bottom of the browser in the Status Bar there is a space (adjacent to the left of the online icon) where a blue bar appears when a page is downloading. Once the page gets completely downloaded the blue bar is supposed to disappear.
Often in my browser the little blue bar gets stuck and the space remains blue after the page has completely downloaded.
I uninstalled the Mozilla browser and then re-installed the browser. I'm still having the same problem.
If I'm remembering right the Netscape browser (which is based on the Mozilla browser) does the same thing on my desktop.
Before I submit a bug report to the Mozilla development team I need to determine if there is something that I have done that is causing the problem.
I made a posting of this same problem in the Mozilla forum but have not yet received any responses.
Does anyone have any suggestions about what might be the problem?
Thanks.
