Mpeg/wmv->3gp/3g2 convertion?
how would i convert mpeg or wmv to 3gp or 3g2 files?

this is actually for my cell phone, i have a Samsung A930 but it could be used in web devolopment

if there is a free software w/ good quality i would be willing to try it.

There are many software to convert to 3gp/3g2. You may download it from soft29.com/convert/videoconverter.html

I use WinXMedia AVI/WMV 3GP Converter to convert AVI, MPEG1 MPEG2 WMV ASF video to 3GP/3G2 video files and play them in my 3GP/3GP mobile phone. It works without any problem to me. You may try it out. But it is not a free software. You can download it from qweas.com/download/video_dvd/video_converters/winxmedia_avi_wmv_3gp_converter.htm

I know, this is an little old topic, but would like to tell about 3gpMobile.
this tool converts digital video to 3GPP or 3GPP2 format for use on mobile devices, such as cellular phones, personal digital assistants (PDA), and other 3G network mobile devices that use GSM or CDMA network protocols.
very useful I think.....
