Hey guys,

I am writing a debate paper and I was trying to create and index. Then I messed up and now i get thie weird icon next to my cursor that I want to get rid of. Please help. Screen Shot included.

I don't remember how to do it as I have not used M$ Word in a while, but somewhere there should be an option to turn off special formatting/paragraph symbols....just take a look around. I'm sure you'll find it!
