compact files

hi there, here's my problem. i was "trying" to delete a folder in my outlook express, and accidently hit compact folder, instead of delete. my question is, how do i undo that,,,,,, i can no longer see the files on the left of my messages, such as,,, inbox, deleted items, folders, sent messages.
is there a way to get my outlook to look normal again, where they are all back on the left side of the page? or do i just have to uninstall outlook and re-install it?

but before you answer, lol,,,,,,, i am no pc wiz

thanks, Leslie-Anne

Hi leslie-anne!, i would like to help you, but i didn't understand very well what you have just said....

You use the "File->Folders->Compact All" command in the File menu??
if this was the case, there has to be no trouble... this just compact the extra space your mails are getting on your hard drive, it doesn't kill anything on your mail client.

If you want to reset your views... go to the View Menu and click the Design entry, this will display you a dialog with the options you have.

Could you tell me if this was helpful??
Or explain me what exactly what you did, and happend to you..
