Partition problem

Hi,

I used partition magic to reduce 2 drives C and D to 1 on my laptop. All my files were placed in a named folder on C which is unaccessable. I think the computer still thinks there is a D drive.

Any help would be appreciated. Regards John

How much space were on both drive before you decided to use partition magic? Also, why were you trying to partition the drives?

You have to be careful because re-partitioning the c drive could overwrite system files and settings, in which you may have to re-install or perform a system restore.

What operating system are you using by the way?

Partition Problem

I had about 30G on each drive, C and D. I was trying to remove the 2 drives into 1 drive. I am using XP.

Regards John
