Well, the results are in!

In case you haven't read in this week's edition of the DevXPress (subscribe if you haven't already done so! ), the results of the Coding and Design contest are finally in:

I want to thank Devarticles and particularily FrankieShakes for running (and managing) this contest.

Today I was contacted by one of the software vendors to deliver one of my prizes, and it feels great. I encourage everyone to participate in the next contest from Devarticles.

I have a couple of suggestions, instaed of posting the results in a forum thread, you could use a page similar to the one where you invited people to participate, and maybe design a mini-banner winners can place into their sites to share with their visitors that they won. This could lead to new visitors and more hits for your advertisers, if you make that banner to link to the winners page.

Well, that's just an idea.

I would like to discourage people from participating in future contests so that way I would have a better chance of winning... =)

just kidding of course... I had no complains with the way this contest ran, and if another were to be offered in the future I welcome all who are willing to participate...

One thing i might suggest for DevArt administrators... keep the contest.php link active throughout the entire duration of the contest, and perhaps making it a little more visible in the beginning of the contest. I know i overlooked the small banner line on the top of the home page for about a couple days.... hate to tell others how to do their job, but love to offer my opinion where it wasn't requested
