Just read the article, "Critical Flaw Exposes Internet E-mail"

at

about a flaw in Sendmail, impacting Unix and Linux systems.

Thought devarticlians might want to know about this.

jeese..... that makes ya think!

did any one's sites get his by that "SQL Slammer Worm" ??

I got two Win2K sites that were down for about 2 days.... cos the companies quite a bit of money, but we got some compensation for the down time.

BTW... is that sendmail the perl script?

Yanno, it's things like these that makes me happy that I keep up with security patches.. and that I don't use sendmail

My work was affected.. Sprint PCS was taken offline for nearly two days.. Also my bank was knocked out too.. that kinda upset me when I went to get money out..
