Software display Problem

Hi

I am running XP

Using Nividia GeForce4 MX420

Display setting @ 800 by 600.

Have just installed some video software. When running the software it opens to large for my screen I can't access any buttons.

The only way so-far to overcome this is to change my display setting to 1024 by 768.

This is way to small for me.

Is there any way of changing the way the software opens without affecting all my setting?

I could remain then at 800 by 600

Many Thanks

Try switching to the 1024x768, adjusting the window size down and reverting back to 800x600.

Alternatively, rightclick on the taskbar button and hit the Maximise command and that ought to put it right... unless the program isn't playing by the rules.

Hi

Thanks for the tip.

I tried it but unfortunately the display window does not allow me to adjust it at all.

Is there anyway of hacking into the software and stipulating that it opens in a certain way?

I doubt you can hack into it.
Did you try the advise of switching resolutios and resizing the window?

I would also suggest emailing the manufacturer and detail how their software is acting on your system.
