OMFG u wouldnt guess how bad of a year this has been for me cause i was writing code on a notebook and it was the same project that i was doing for like a month.

(it was a game)

then one night i open the notebook to find that all the pages execpt for like 4 useless pages were ripped! RIPPED I TELL U! i wrote on the same notebook for days and put a lot thought in all the code so then i decided to tell me parents that i give up coding (which i lied cause i still want to code) but i continued coding on the microsoft notepad which i hate but then one day all my music and some .txt files just dissapeared. those same .txt files had the code in it. my dad bought an external hd cause he was aware the we needed one cause the internal hd is full.

so i put the rest of the files in that external hd and i was the only one to use the hd my sisters didnt use the external hd. but one day she brought her friend and my guess they were missing with my hd! cause it didnt work and i had to put that in the garbage!

i was still working on coding but i was putting the file on the external hd but eversince the external hd broke i havent wrote a single codeline.

I have to reinstall a compiler (which isnt that hard).

ALSO i was in coding so much that i didnt do much in school except right code down on my special notebook that i had to do summerschool!

so yeah this isnt a good year for me but finally we moved to a house and i am soon going to be 16 and get a job and then i can buy myself a computer just for myself so that i can finally program in peace. (my guess my sister did all the deleting but everyone denies of ripping my pages)

i was mad but now i am mustly sad cause the thought of not coding and if i do write code it will get deleted so ill just wait to get a job and get my own personal computer(cause we share this computer)

ill be back in the world programming at beginning of 2007.
i just remembered all the helped a recieve here that i decided to give an early visit (and did geo left, he was the only guy in the furoms to say something about masturbation that we all agreed on[so we all have to remember that guy])

p.s. i have been getting into Djing and i have done some house parties and i go by DJ BLS so how did u know that i also go by BLS everyone in the net calls me shaman, blood, lust, the BS guy, etc.

Wow dude, that sounds like a lot of very BAD luck, lol, why dont you just try to get a file protecter, they have them online if you look around, it will lock the file so they cant delete, edit, view, move, cut, paste, overwrite, anything to it!!!! unless they have a password, try that, lol

anyway yea, what do you code in"??

Amsterdam Amsterdam,

.. they smoke hash in the street
in Amsterdam...

or so go the lyrics to a particular dumb song I once heard.

Drinking age, and Where Exactly 25 Isn't Legal to Drink,
the last one first, half of Dallas County, Texas.
Very stupid, I know, but read on mein freunden, there is worse to come...

I drank/got stupid drunk exactly twice, in a bar in Oklahoma, when I was 16. Of course that wasn't legal, although if my parents had been there, bought the beer (all they sell in bars in that part of Okieland) and given it to me it would have been legal (!)

Also it wasn't technically illegal to BE in the bar, just not to drink.

Another particularly stupid thing is the way they didn't actually serve the beer.
They would sell you a bottle, or a pitcher, hand you a glass, and YOU had to serve your own beer from it. A technicality called "liquor by the drink". Also, the beer they sold was 3.2%, the strongest they could sell in a bar. BUT there was a liquor store right next door. Owned by the cousin, maybe, of the person who owned by the bar, because they couldn't both be owned by the same person or corporate entity, like husband and wife for instance.
You would then trot your happy arse over to the bar with your freshly acquired bottle of the Real Stuff, and order what is called a Setup. A glass and a bottle or pitcher of soda pop. Again you would have to serve yourself.

A fun diversion on that theme would be to put the whiskey in BEER.

Me and some of my fellow underage teen monsters would go there, on a town run from the Job Corps center nearby, spend our measly allotment of cash Yankee money getting as drunk as we could and generally acting the ass.

The second weekend I went, i was getting as stupid as the first time, only this time I had followed somebody's jackass suggestion of eating something before proceeding to the goodies.

about halfway through my second half-gallon pitcher of Schlitz, or maybe my third, I kinda would lose count, you know?
I got a little rumly in the tummy. I said to myself, "Self, perhaps I should make it to the john before I puke"
Made my way into the john. Popped up the lid of the crapper not a moment too soon, hurled my beer and ham sandwich in the general direction of the bowl, missed by a fraction of an inch and thus had the honour of throwing up all over the floor of the men's room at Ray's World Famous Hillbilly Haven in Beautiful Downtown Lawton, Oklahoma.

Next weekend was my seventeenth birthday. For some reason the Commies at the bar decided that perhaps we might be underaged, (however did they guess?) and carded us.

Thus ended my drunken adventures. Even a year before it was legal to begin a drunken odyssey.

Just a little light entertainment in case you are seriously trying to operate a keyboard and a bottle at the same time.

I have found that a sober person is more entertaining to somebody who is not sober, than the other way around
Have fun with the club.

Anna, I thought the legal drinking age in the U.S. was 21.
Personally, I find being sober quite fun while surrounded by your drunken friends.

BLS, how do you DJ? CD? Vinyl? MP3?
I guess with your project out of the way () you'll be spending more time here again?

21 now, 18 then

back in the late 70s.

Also, now that the weekend is over, y'all might want to reconsider the activities for next weekends binge/party. The pony rides, ok. Merry go rounds, slides, bounce house and similar deals which tend to make your head (and stomach) spin normally... ehh... it seems that might be risking it just a little.

and for those of you unfortunate enough to be living in a hot climate, remember the First Rule of Winos, "Cold beer on a hot day makes Jack a flat boy".

as in, you might be lying on the sidewalk looking up at the clouds and saying really intelligent things like "WOW" and "Far out!" and my personal favourite "I've fallen, and I can't get up"

@BLS: Have you considered getting some (free) webspace somewhere, and storing your code there (FTP or so). That way, you'd have a backup in case it got deleted again.

@Ann: Drinking can be fun, but drinking for the sake of drinking, and thus drinking too much, is always stupid :-P

Never had fun drinking too much.

I prefer to drink quality, and drink with restraint...

Now, where's that bottle of 16 year old Whisky I left somewhere around here?

The cow drank it. :d

One must learn their limit before they obey it... I had my share of ridiculous (although mostly blacked-out-and-forgotten) nights... now I control it and don't drink to get drunk anymore.... but boy am I glad I did... *reminisces*

Don't you know? It's a classic 1978 Pan-head Hare. Very popular amongst Hare afficianados.
