Add Seach Text Box "Help" (Dreamweaver MX)

Hello everyone,

I’m using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 and trying to create a search box on my main form.

What I would like to be able to do is enter a person’s name within the text box and have it search for a file that contains a paragraph or so about the person, along with a picture.

Does anyone know where I can find the code that would do this or even close?

Corey

There's a bunch of things that may help you with this, but they require a little programming background. Not sure, from your post, how comfortable you would be with that. (I apologise as I'm making assumptions)

Are these files already existing, or is that just part of your solution?
I would recommend using a database instead of files, you would have better control over results. Also, it would help to learn a programming language that you can use to interact with it.

Is this for a professional site, or just something on your own for development/learning?
