Final Year Project - Plz Help

Hi guys
I need some advice on my final year project,
I am going to design a web-based hotel booking system
with orcale database, and my instructor asked me to implement AI technology into the program
I have no idea how and where can I use AI, so would anyone can give me some advice on this

AI technology? In a hotel booking system?
I don't understand... maybe you're best to ask your instructor to clarify that.

Perhaps develop a robot that talks to you, like a desk clerk would... =)
You could toy with VoiceXML if for similar results

Maybe they only mean basic "AI" (and I use the term loosely) - like having the system automatically email clients their bill upon leaving, automatically emailing clients reminders about their bookings, etc. Or how about having the system suggesting the best room available to the operator, instead of the regular method (whatever that is!)...

what is mean by choosing the best room please.

Ok if a cutomer ring up and says I am an elderly old lady or I find it hard to walk (because i'm fat and lazy) whatever really, the booking system could select the best available room from what is available, IE away from the noisy bar but close to the lift/or ground floor and close to the other ammenaties.

If the customer wants to book a few rooms select the best option from the specifications laid out by th customer and what is available.

Things like that, The AI could also shuffle bookings about based on criteria, ie even if a room isn'tfree for the old lady move someone out of the best room and into an equally suitable room for that persons needs.
