flash design / animation:pc vs mac

i ve put my website online yesterday after months of tuff work.../
It works very well on pc but i ve tried it on a mac today and it was actually pretty slow

...i just wondered why there`s a difference between mac/pc and how can i possibly fix it..
i designed it with flash mx.Is there simply anything to do with the frame speed? (i used 24 frames p/s)
