Looking for hip-hop fonts

Hi there -

I'm looking for street-style fonts. Themes: hip-hop, gangsta, hood, tags, South-Side, South Central, South Bronx, NYC MTA 80's.

Any leads?? I'm auditioning with a propsective client in the clothing biz and want to give them some roughs before I meet with them.

The best I've been able to come up with is a font called "ZigZap" in the TV Dinner collection at fontdiner.com .

As always, all help greatly appreciated.

Robsta

From my bookmarks:

http://www.dafont.com/en/ (categorised by theme)
http://www.chankarmy.com/
http://www.veer.com/results.asp?image=FBT0200014 (this looks v. similar to the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" font)

Don't forget the Black Letter Gothic Script type fonts (http://www.fonts.com/findfonts/find...ss&class=blkscr) - often used in tattoo's and by Tupac. Not sure if it's still current though.

Thanks for da links!

Thanks Stumpy

I'll take a look.

I found some graffiti fonts at http://www.1001fonts.com under "graffiti, scribbled fonts".

I thought I'd get more American Eagle 70's revival flyer-style scribble searching under graffit - I'm looking for old skool graffiti à la the
D train running elevated over the Manhattan Bridge c. 1983.

Check out 1001fonts for that type of thing.

Thanks -
Robsta

Yeah veer.com

Thanks again -

the veer.com font was the closest. I need to have some fonts to show a prospective client. This is good.

Also looking for Fossil, Guess style fonts.

Probably end up at http://www.myfonts.com (one of my fave font sites) - they let you try out the fonts first which really helps.

Ta!
Robsta
