Mac IE 5.2 - Select Box Values not displaying
Hi,
I have a list of brand names with the registered mark (circle R ). My list has the name and the ascii code for (®) right next to it. There are no spaces. When I click on the list I don't see any of the options displayed but if I click and select one, it will display in the text box. This is on Mac IE 5.2 on OS X. Any ideas? I have added explicit UTF-8 character set in a metag and that did not help. Is there any way around this? I am dynamically generating this list from a DB ... Is there a setting on the Mac I should try? right now it's set to Universal UTF-8. Thanks for any help.

looks ok in other browsers
In other browsers, the html is the same -
Name® for each option. Displays without issue. Right now we are taking a different approach and sending a different list to the page if we know the browser is Mac and IE 5.2 without the circle Rs...
