Music Player help
I am looking into how to put a 5 song music player on my site. I dont just want to have background music I want the viewer to be able to pic to listen to one of the songs or to just stop the music.
I am currently using frontpage to design my site but I want to learn more coding. If you have any suggestions about doing this as well that would be great. Thanks you can also check djchoycekutz.com to see what I have been doing so far. any recomendations would be great. |

Music Player
First, consider the legal issues involved with offering music. Some bands allow, and even encourage music sharing of bootleg, non-studio recorded non-commercial songs. (in otherwords, you can't make money off of them, and you can't detract from their ability to make money) I used RealProducer to convert mp3s into rm files to stream from ram files. The music requires the RealPlayer plug-in, but I like the free no-cost aspect of using the products (for non-commercial use), and I think most people have the player. I use low-quality settings to reduce stream band-width, but higher quality settings are available. Check out my site for an example http://www.mittineague.com/rm/sets.php
