Need help with scrollbars
Here is my website:
www.yourfriendandy.com I'm not very experienced in site making, but I can make simple sites. I am using tables for this site and on the page home.html I want one of the tables cells to be able to scroll. I would like to use a cell as a "blog" type thing. I don't know the best way to do this without making my page longer and longer as I update. I would just like it to have a scrollbar so that I can have lots of text in there, but keep the site the size it is. I am open to all suggestions, but I need something that will fit my needs. Thanks |

eek, your layout screams for tableless xhtml =)
I guess your posts haven't been big enough to see the iframe in action yet. |

correct a mundo, I did a scroll test and the scroll bars work... but they won't been seen for a few days. like I said I am fairly new to web site coding, so tableless xhtml means nothing to me. is it easy to use and can you point me to a information source? |

"Tabless XHTML" - what MadCowDzz really means is that you might want to check out how "modern day" websites are built - i.e. using web standards that more and more developers are adhering to. You can have a read about what this all means here: http://www.maxdesign.com.au/presentation/checklist.cfm
