I was asked to help a friend of mine finish off a site. there are 3 outstanding issues and the whole thing will be completed. Mainly I am having trouble with the CSS drop down menus.
ITs at "(URL address blocked: See forum rules)" 1 the phrase "<%@LANGUAGE="JAVASCRIPT" CODEPAGE="1252"" appears at the top of every page drawn in Mozilla based broswers, but IE is fine! 2 I cant center the page without screwing up the menus, they dont Center even when the PAGE does, 3 Mozilla based browsers cant even render the background of the drop down menus correctly. If the menu calls for a 5 line drop down, Mozilla only renders 3. I realize IE is usually the culprit in not adhering to standards, This site was developed in Dreamweaver, and you would think IE would be the odd man out- but thats not the case. This is driving me CRAZY- Google is no help, as all it does (in reference to solutions to #1) is call up OTHER websites with the same problem. ANY help would be appreciated.stray |

whoops ok
I disappeared for a while there (death in the family), but i still haven' t found a solution.
the URL is "Daniellemackinnon dot com" The CODEPAGE error still appears at the top and the sucker still isn't centered. I had the CSS cleaned up, but i cant seem to find a decent way to A) get RID of that codepage error at the top in non IE browsers or B) center the page. Centering it in html leaves the menus on the left Searching for the codepage error just brings up raw html in search engines so im having a hard time finding a solution. |

have you tried using suckerfish menu? the code is for the dropdown menu, right? so, maybe you could get rid of it and use suckerfish... it works really fine.
