Testing a website on localhost
-----
Figured it out.... turned on anonymous via IIS setting on that directory and it worked. I guess firefox just works differently (duh) and needs that. ----- I am doing a project for a co-worker and am using my laptop to test the project before it goes to a server. I had it configured all well and good with IE and myPHPAdmin and winMySQL. I like using firefox and just got it on my laptop and when i try to go to URL it asks me for a username and password and i tried all the ones i think it should be and it still doesnt work. any thoughts what might be the problem? I dont remember if IE asked for a password and if so which it was. I am still going to tinker with it but I am just trying to get another persons perspectives. Thanks, Tyrnt |
