How can I create a web hosting on my own computer?

Hi everyone, is there anybody can tell me how can I create a hosting on my own computer, I just need to have some html pages and no need of any database. Is there any software I need to have or anything else I should have, thank you.

what OS u'r running??? Window2k or later -> IIS.
Linux -> apache server.
all of the above have been pre-install or comes with the OS.
