Thumbs down Not entirily true.

While it is true that GoDaddy's tech support doesn't know their head from a hole in the ground, and that sometimes you'll get somebody that knows something, and sometimes you won't - that issue is not unique to GoDaddy. Every company with a call center has that staffing problem.

The problem you wrote about on your website is easily fixed. Simply use the full path to reference your includes which they require to be stored in the cgi directory.

GoDaddy.com Full Website Path:

The full path to your site will be home/content/u/s/e/username/html/ where /u/s/e will be the first 3 letters of your username (the username you log in with FTP).

This GoDaddy smear campaign is absurd, especially when those doing the smearing are technically incompetent (at least from what I've read).

would godaddy be good for a site that has a huge phpbb forum, large database and about 350gb transfer a month? onm paper it sounds ok, but i know that there are so many catches in most hoster's TOS that i thought i'd ask here if anyone has been booted off godaddy even though your transfer was under 500gb. CPU overload, or something?
