hmm

I have used wizwebhost for about 5 months before I had to cancel. I got the windows hosting package and the service was horrible. many downtimes, and on average at least 1-2 days per week of downtime. I have contacted the customer service numerous times and every time I was told that the problem has been taken care of and it will not happen again. I think that there is no communication between the customer service and the tech guys because I had to contact them several times and every time nothing came to fruition.

When I got tired of the downtime I asked them to change my plan to a Linux one and two days later when I contacted them to see what is going on I was told that nobody asked to change the plan and that I had to open a ticket (to a control panel I couldn't access because the website was down) and I also had to email the customer service.

When I tried to cancel my subscription I was told that I had to pay some fees like a $20 setup fee (where did this come from? I don't know) + $19.95 domain registration fee (keep in mind that the domain registration is free when you buy web hosting). I looked everywhere on the website and I could not find anywhere where it says that I need to pay any fees to cancel a service that had so many downtimes that I lost count. I changed to another web hosting provider because I didn't wanted to loose all my visitors. This is a young website and uptime is essential. I am still arguing with them to get a refund for the unused portion of subscription (it passed over 3 weeks and I see no end in sight).

So I do not recommend them to anybody.

you have to be careful about webhosts, especially if they are not widely known, as they'll "claim" to have this and that, and not deliver. most times, they are just trying to bait you into signing up and that's it.

so who are you with now?
