Access Control List with IIS

...Previously i have installed apache on my win xp pro sp2...then after that i jus installed this IIS 5.1 on the same pc. i have assigned different port for each of them.

evtime when i try to access the page on my IIS(locally)..it will prompt me to enter password...i have try every set of password and login name..but i still unable to access it(i have set the directory security to anonymous oso same problem occurs)....the error saying that it's related with the ACL but i have try to configure manually on certain user name and assign password to access under the properties in IIS control box..still i cant access it

wats wrong with my pc

more than likely, it's a permission problem. explain your setup a bit more and perhaps i can help.
