Apache does not recognize PHP

I installed Apache. I added the following 2 lines at the end of httpd.conf
LoadModule php4_module php4apache2.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

I copied the following files into C:\Apache Group\Apache2\ :
C:\php\php4ts.dll
C:\php\sapi\php4apache2.dll
C:\php\php.ini-recommended

However when I test the configuration I got the following error:
Syntax error on line xxx of c:/Apache Group/...../httpd.conf
Cannot load c:/Apach Group/Apache2/php4apache2.dll into server:
The specified module could not be found.
Any clue what went wrong

Is that a typo in your post or a typo in your config? It says "Apach Group" instead of "Apache Group."

Yes it is a typo error.
It is not easy to install PHP as a module.
I solved the problem by following the article of Shahid Hussain at:

Thanks

I hate installing and configuring. The easiest way it to install XAMPP. One installer installs Apache with PHP, MySQL, and Perl all preconfigured. Available for Windows, Linux, Solaris, and OS X. And of course, it's free!

yes the clue is you need to leave php4apache2.dll in the php folder on your machine. it doesn't need to be in the apache folder.
