you're thread has not been the least bit descriptive, so i don't know how we can help you, since you haven't told us much of nothing...

XM, check your error logs. Also, as asp_man points out, you haven't given us much to work with. You might start by noting the platform and apache version you're working with and perhaps pasting in relevant portions of your httpd.conf file.

keep in mind that with a linux environment with apache the file names are case sensitive, which would keep them from being viewed if they aren't capitolized correctly.. also, make sure that apache has the correct permissions to access the pictures themselves, if they are stored in a different directory other than the root of the webserver (IE, your webserver root is /var/mysite , but your pictures are stored in /pub/mysite/pictures)
Since you're using win32, make sure that apache has the correct access permissions for all of the directories.. Check and see if you can pull up the pictures seperately by themselves.. ie: www.nitwitz.org/spongepatrick.jpg shows where www.nitwitz.org/Spongepatrick.jpg doesn't |

Was the image a symlink ?
Quote:
Hi ! I had the same problem, and it turned out to be because the image was a symlink (I moved the files from Unix to Windows), logo.gif was a symlink to logo06.gif---there are no symlinks in Win 32 ! Ramoneur |

I know that this reply is a few months late, but it would have been useful for me to see the answer here (the first link to come up on Google).
On my PC with Win2K (also running ZoneAlarm), images weren't being displayed. The following page gives details of how I fixed it: http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/README.html#problems |
