Apache with ASP, PHP and ColdFusion
Hi there everyone,
I was using an apache based webserver with compiled modules for php, asp and coldfusion. It was OpenSa webserver, php version on it is a bit old an deprecated, of course new releases come out... Anyway I still have a question for those who tested it or might know, is the ASP module powerful enough to code ASP scripts as I could do under IIS? I recently migrated to apache 2.0.x and now I'd like to run some ASP scripts on that server. So I tried to keep the existing asp module (released with opensa) and pasted it into apache modules folder and finally edited httpd.conf file. But asp sripts still not working, maybe this is due to an old module definition or somethin, I don't really know... So, my question is, does someone know if there are some modules for apache to allow asp scripts to run under it as well as they run under iis? Or is it possible to compile/create a module that could run asp scripts? Thanks in advance for any help. Best regards, WA |

if you want to run asp scripts, do it the right way, run IIS or PWS
