Creating a distributable Apache installation
Hi folks-
I am looking to create an Apache installation on a test/development machine (SPARC Solaris) with all the trimmings: PHP, XML, Oracle and MySQL support, SSL, etc. Building these on the single box is no problem, but here's the trick:
I need to be able to take the install and move it to other machines as well, without recompiling on those machines. The target boxes are identical in hardware & software/OS to the development machine that I am building on. Is this something that is possible, or will I need to complile on every machine?
I need to be able to do this because the target servers lack the necessary compilation tools for compiling.
Any help or feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks-
Ars.
