HELP Apache2

( I am Using Windows XP for Both Home and WOrk)

Hello, i've installed ActivePerl using ActivePerl -5.8.3.809-MSWin32-x86.msi and openSa 2.0.2 (at home), finished the installation and all was ok , i tried from work ( the first time all was Perfect!)

but after i restarted my computer (atHome) i got a Prompt error msg about the "ipConfig" (no value, or can't find a new one..) -sorry i didn't write it down!!- so, i thought it was just a small problem and that it will b ok, after an uninstallation of the softwares and Reinstalling them (Unluckily, IT WAS NOT!!)

(uninstall, i mean a simple goin to add/remove programs),

i Also deleted the file which was put in the startup folder of windows the one responsible of the Ip CHeck, and also i've a Trojan remover software, so after a new startup of the machine, it diplayed that some keys in the registery are refered and also have no values, so it suggests to delete them, and i did... NOW i reinstalled the softwares and i get more Troubles! when starting the setup.bat file it stops and display an error msg :

" We're sorry, there was an error starting the OpenSA service. We tried to start OpenSA using the command 'Apache -k start', but an error occurred Plz contact...etc etc"

Now and also the Apache Monitor shows no services to start or to stop ! i guess that's very normal, becoz of the installation not yet done!

i hope that i gave enough details of the Problem

so PLEASE, if you can HELP !

How to do to get it workin once Again ! ?

opensa has been discontinued for years now, i'd suggest you install apache as a stand alone.
