help with Apache, DNS and IP
Hi there,
I have registered a domain name a week ago, but the registrar does not provide DNS service (
what a lousy registrar!!) So I barely found a free DNS server, and basically played around to get the domain
to point to the IP. First of all, I don't know which IP I must use. Second, I am wondering, if there is something I
have to do anything with httpd config file for the Apache server. I am using a Apache version 2.0.52 in my Windows XP Pro. If anyone has been in a same situation or knows anything about DNS service and Apache server, feel free to give me some tips on how to point domain to the IP. Perhaps if you could give me a reply, then I will be happy to share all the details of events that happened. Thank you.
