Help with windows 2003
I have a server that i have to make into a web server running .asp and .net sites, can anyone point me in the direction of a set of instructions to follow to configure the server when i install it so that its secure and runs just as a web server, i need to also have sql server 2000 on there as well.
this will run public websites, dont know if that makes any difference to what i need to set up? and will need some sort of remote desktop access as its going into an isp to be co-located. Thanks for any help and advice in advance and sorry for such a broad question but my knowledge in this area is zero! Robert |

the instructions that come with win2k3 server are very well written and easy to follow. so i have a question, have you setup IIS & SQL Server on win2k server boxes before?
if so, then basically the steps are the same, so give it a whirl and if you can't get it, be sure to ask questions as we'll help you get going.
