http://localhost/ Doesnt work when i installed apache ...... plz. Help
I installed apache and it installed fine and started fine, but when I type in the above two addresses in internet explorer, I get nothing, for http://127.0.0.1, i get a blank page and for http://localhost, i get a page saying it can't be found. I don't get page the apache page saying it was installed and running successfully on your machine. I have tried everything. The thing its it installed fine and its even running. Help please, thanks

Which Operating System are you using ?
Make sure that there is no firewall blocking the port 80. Also make sure that apache REALLY starts. Open a DOS command window and goto the apache's installation directory and enter the command manually Code:
apache And see if any error comes up or not.

Need Help
I'm using Windows XP home edition ...... i cant run IIS on it so i installed Apache ..... Apache starts just fine
but for some reason doesnt work!!!!!!! Any suggestion??
