Problem seeing apache server from outside my network

Alright, I have the newest versions of Apache, PHP, and MySQL setup on my computer. All are running perfectly, I can install forums, use things like phpmyadmin, etc. However, this only works if I'm looking at the local host or my internal IP (127.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.3). Nobody can access my server from my external IP. I've setup web servers before so I can't understand what I'm mission ($5 says it's something simple though).

One thing that I'm worried might be causing it is that I'm running a Asus P5N32-SLI (duel onboard NIC), so my computer shows up as having 2 internal IP's (1.2 and 1.3). However, I've tried to isolate and rule out this problem both by forwarding port 80 on my router to one IP and setting the other IP to DMZ and by simply unplugging one NIC. I've turned off all firewalls including the windows firewall. I can't see what I'm missing. Someone help me please

Well, I know it sounds like you've checked already... but verify your router isn't blocking the port... Does your router have a firewall installed? Are you portforwarding to the right pc? (all trivial questions, but I encourage you to verify).

Some ISPs are known to block port 80... try a different port instead, just for testing.

Edit: Tried all that stuff but switching the port, did that too and didn't work. Then I took my router out of the setup, renewed my IP and it worked! Put my router back into the setup, still worked. Changed the port, didn't work. Turned back on all the firewalls and everything, switched the port back to 90, works again. I guess I just had to renew my IP somewhere in between.

Anyway, thanks, I never would have thought of ISP's blocking that port.

Edit #2: n/m... appearently now I can use my external IP to view it, but not anyone else. so problem still not fixed

So, if you remove your router from the equation and connect your internet directly to your computer, does it work? I would play with this part a little further.

Does a different port (try some random high numbered port, but not too high ) work when you don't use your router?

You've mentioned you disabled your Windows firewall, you're absolutely positive you don't have anything else running? Semantec Internet Security, ZoneAlarm, etc?

You're positive your friends are using the right ip address?
