who is phpapache
just a quick one, i know that this shows my ignorance, but what user does apache run php scripts as?

I think under Unix/Linux it is usually the "nobody" account. Under NT it is the "local" account.

If PHP is compiled as module of apache then PHP will run under the same user as apache. This is normally either nobody or apache but can be anything. To make sure you will need to look in the apache config file.
