www.domain.net and domain.net
Hello,
im using IIS 5.1 on Win XP PRO. My question is: Why when i type www.mydomain.net in IE nothing comes up, but when i type mydomain.net in the browser my web page does come up? The dns server is configured properly, because when i ping www.mydomain.net i get replies. * my domain is an example of my real domain name. Thanks! |

Edit the sites properties. Press the Advanced button, next to the IP address on the first tab. Add a host header for the domain you wish to create access to. In your case: www.domain.net. This will now accept both domains.
